This is a remote position.

As an iOS Developer at Scopic, you’ll work on challenging mobile projects, collaborating with a global team to deliver innovative, user-friendly, and technically robust applications.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop, maintain, and optimize advanced iOS applications primarily using Objective-C , with additional use of C++ and Swift .

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams of designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality applications.

Assist in architecting and improving mobile application performance, scalability, and reliability.

Participate in code reviews , contribute to technical discussions , and support continuous improvement within the team.

Stay updated on modern iOS development trends, tools, and technologies.

Required Qualifications :

5+ years of professional experience in iOS development.

Strong proficiency in Objective-C (primary language) .

Hands-on experience with C++ and Swift (secondary languages) .

Experience building and maintaining production-level iOS applications .

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Excellent English communication skills – written and verbal.

Possession of an iPhone 12 Pro, 13 Pro, 14 Pro, or 15 Pro for development and testing purposes.

Preferred Qualifications :

Cross-platform development experience (e.g., Android, Flutter, or React Native ).

Familiarity with AI / ML technologies or mobile app optimization techniques .

Exposure to web or desktop development environments .

Experience in performance optimization and debugging for mobile applications.

Your starting rate is negotiable depending on your skills and experience.

This is an hourly paid position.

Contractors are paid monthly via wire transfer.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in iOS development. Strong command of Objective-C, Swift. Experience with SceneKit and basic familiarity with 3D modeling applications (e.g., Blender), with the ability to adjust 3D models. Experience in building and maintaining production-level mobile applications. Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex technical challenges. Strong English communication skills – both written and verbal. Possession of an iPhone 12 Pro, 13 Pro, 14 Pro, or 15 Pro is required for this role.
