Rigger with EOT Crane Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform rigging activities for lifting, positioning, and securing loads using slings, shackles, hooks, and other lifting accessories.
• Operate EOTC cranes to transport materials across designated areas within the shipyard or fabrication zones.
• Inspect lifting gear and crane components before use to ensure safety and functionality.
• Interpret lifting plans, load charts, and communicate effectively with signalmen and supervisors.
• Ensure proper load balancing and secure attachment of rigging equipment.
• Maintain clear communication during lifting operations using hand signals or radio communication.
• Assist in assembling and disassembling rigging setups as per job requirements.
• Adhere to safety protocols and participate in toolbox talks and risk assessments.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or incidents immediately.
• Support other lifting and logistics activities as directed by the supervisor.
