They work in industries such as construction, manufacturing, and shipping. In Al-Rayyan, you will be responsible for operating cranes safely and efficiently to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain various types of cranes according to safety regulations and company policies

Inspect crane equipment daily before use to ensure proper functioning

Use hand signals or radio communication to direct crane movements

Lift and position heavy materials using the crane's hoist or other attachments

Monitor load weight and make adjustments as needed

Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries

Keep detailed records of daily operations and maintenance activities

Perform routine maintenance on the crane, such as lubricating parts and replacing worn or damaged components

Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of experience operating cranes in a similar role

Valid crane operator certification from a recognized organization

Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings

Good hand-eye coordination and depth perception for accurate operation of the crane

Physically fit to handle the demands of operating a crane for long periods of time

Knowledge of safety regulations related to crane operation

Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights
