Head of Offshore Maintenance (NFS)

Job Purpose

Plan, optimize and deliver project maintenance readiness deliverables (people, spares, maintenance plans, EQDB, CMMS, procedures and work processes) to ensure safe, reliable start-up and life cycle maintenance of the new facilities. Job Context & Major Challenge(s)

Context of the role incudes; (1) Accountable for assigned project maintenance activities and deliverables, (2) Developing the maintenance readiness plan, (3) Building new maintenance organization and developing required expertise and competency, (4) Optimizing manpower utilisation in accordance with multi-projects dynamic schedules, (5) Leading high risk maintenance dynamic commissioning and start-up activities for complex & large scale projects involving new recruits, unproven technologies, multiple vendors and SIMOPS, (6) Lead maintenance investigations during trips and failures. Major challenge is delivering all maintenance deliverables such as Asset Register, Maintenance Strategy, PM Plans, Spares, Chemicals and BOMs, prior to handover. Qatarization Program

Lead and develop maintenance scope for assigned projects from FEED, EPC, and Commissioning / Start up until handover to the long term organization. Ensure Qatargas process consistency and implementation in projects in accordance with QGPMS. Assist in building the new asset maintenance organization and develop required expertise and competency. Plan, monitor and deliver project maintenance readiness deliverables. Develop maintenance contracts and monitoring their performance. Coordinate project requirements by providing experienced Qatargas personnel to participate in various reviews such as P&ID, HAZOP, 3D model and risk assessments. Provide projects with relevant Lessons Learned and ensure their effective implementation. Support capital spares optimisation, project system completion and identify risks and mitigations related to tie-ins with live facilities. Lead maintenance activities during dynamic commissioning, early operations (start-ups and shutdowns) and facilitate smooth transition into sustainable producing asset. Support close out of deliverables and exceptions after project Handover. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent. Knowledge and / or Experience

10 years maintenance experience in the oil, gas or petrochemical industry with relevant exposure to LNG and within offshore and onshore environments including 3 years’ experience in supervisory roles. Well versed in project experience (construction, commissioning, Start-up and stable operations). Experience in maintenance deliverables (Spares, CMMS, RCM, Maintenance Strategies and Staffing competency). Technical and Business Skills

Strong planning and target delivery skills. Strong negotiation skills. Able to work and make decisions under highly stressing conditions. Fluent in written and spoken English. Strong leadership & people skills. Computer skills including Microsoft Office and SAP.
