Job Summary :
AtkinsRéalis is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) Engineer to support the operations and maintenance of ELV systems within a major Facilities Management project in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and hands-on experience managing ELV systems in a facilities management environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ELV systems including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, BMS, public address, and structured cabling systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
- Analyze system performance data and recommend improvements or upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and client requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including system schematics, maintenance logs, and incident reports.
- Support integration of ELV systems with other building management systems.
- Provide technical support and training to FM staff and end-users.
Prequalification :
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.Minimum 3 years of experience in an ELV Engineer role within the Facilities Management field .CFM (Certified Facility Manager) certification is preferred .Strong knowledge of ELV systems and their integration with building infrastructure.Familiarity with industry standards such as NFPA, BS, and local regulations.Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and ELV-related software.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Experience in the Middle East, particularly Qatar, is an advantage.Job Summary :
