Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned’s Club, a private members’ club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.

Job Purpose We are looking for a Bartender / Barista to work within The Ned Doha. If you have experience as a Bartender / Barista in a busy restaurant or hotel luxury environment, and you are enthusiastic, passionate and knowledgeable about fresh food and good service, then we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation : Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, espresso-based beverages, and cocktails according to established recipes and customer preferences.

Customer Service : Provide excellent service by interacting with guests, taking orders, and addressing any questions or concerns to ensure a positive experience.

Equipment Operation : Operate and maintain coffee machines, blenders, cocktail shakers, and other equipment, ensuring they are clean and functioning correctly.

Work Area Maintenance : Keep the bar and coffee stations clean and organized, following health and safety standards.

Cash Handling : Accurately process transactions, manage the cash register, and handle cash and credit card payments.

Inventory Management : Monitor and manage inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and ensure proper stock rotation.

Trend Awareness : Stay updated on current beverage trends and techniques to enhance drink offerings and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Barista, Bartender, or in a similar customer-facing role is preferred.

Proficient in preparing coffee drinks and cocktails, with a solid understanding of brewing methods and mixology techniques.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Must be of legal drinking age and hold any required certifications or licenses.

Work Experience and Knowledge

Demonstrated experience in a barista or bartender role, showcasing a strong background in beverage preparation and customer service.

Familiarity with various coffee brewing equipment, cocktail mixers, and bar tools.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.

Experience in managing inventory and performing cash handling duties.
