Cost Estimator in Qatar.

The Cost Estimator will assist in preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and supporting the tendering and procurement processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for learning within a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects (materials, labor, equipment, overheads, and contingencies).
• Review project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to identify scope, quantities, and cost components.
• Support the tendering process by collecting quotations, verifying supplier pricing, and preparing comparative analyses.
• Maintain and update cost databases, rate libraries, and historical cost records.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and planning teams to ensure alignment of estimates with project requirements.
• Participate in post-tender reviews, clarifications, and cost adjustments.
• Contribute to value engineering exercises and cost optimization initiatives.
• Ensure all estimates and documentation comply with company standards and Qatar construction regulations.
