Static Equipment Lead
Lead the Static equipment engineering activities for Offshore Project, ensuring technical requirements (e.g. project specifications, data sheets) fully comply with project deliverables and standardized processes and to provide support to Offshore Engineering Manager ensuring all aspects are delivered to the highest standards. The Static Equipment Lead will be responsible for providing expert technical guidance on mechanical / static equipment. The role ensures design of mechanical equipment, and compliance with international standards to enhance asset reliability and safety.
Responsibilities
- Lead static equipment engineering activities for the offshore project and ensure alignment with project deliverables and standardized processes.
- Provide expert technical guidance on mechanical / static equipment.
- Ensure designs comply with international standards and contribute to asset reliability and safety.
- Support the Offshore Engineering Manager to ensure all aspects are delivered to the highest standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences or Engineering.Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as Mechanical Engineer in a major project environment within the oil and gas industry.Broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction and operations.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in multi-disciplinary, multicultural teams in offshore environments.Excellent report writing and presentation skills; high level of proficiency in written and spoken English.Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.Good knowledge of mechanical equipment, piping, pipeline, structural, instrument, telecom, piping and electrical systems.#J-18808-Ljbffr
