Job Description We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager for our Social Media team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various social media platforms and a keen sense of brand storytelling. As the Assistant Manager of Social Media, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic content that resonates with our audience and enhances our brand's online presence. You will collaborate with different departments to ensure alignment on marketing objectives and drive engagement through innovative social media campaigns. The role requires a combination of creativity, analytical skills, and communications prowess to manage the day-to-day activities and long-term strategy of social media platforms effectively.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement social media strategies to align with business goals and marketing campaigns.
Oversee day-to-day management of social media content across all channels.
Collaborate with internal teams to design and execute promotional campaigns.
Monitor and report on the performance of social media initiatives and campaigns.
Create engaging and innovative content to grow and maintain brand awareness online.
Respond to messaging and comments in a timely manner while maintaining brand voice.
Analyze social media insights to guide future content creation and planning.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media practices and technologies.
Manage and optimize paid social media advertising campaigns effectively.
Coordinate with influencers and industry professionals to promote brand consistency.
Train and develop junior team members, providing guidance and insights.
Liaise with the PR and Marketing teams to coordinate messaging consistency.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required.
Proven experience working with social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and deliver actionable insights.
Experience in managing and optimizing paid social media campaigns successfully.
Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools, such as Hootsuite.
Creative thinker with the ability to brainstorm and contribute innovative ideas.
