Airswift is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to work in Qatar with a major Oil & Gas company.
Qualifications :
- B.Sc. or Higher National Diploma and / or Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline from a recognized university. Certification in Nautical Science (maritime), Marine Logistics, offshore, and Port Operations is an advantage.
Experience :
8 to 10 years of offshore capital projects logistics management and coordination experience.Strong team building, coordination, and teamwork skills.Ability to supervise multinational and multicultural contractor workforce.Good IT and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure.Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
Coordinate offshore and subsea logistics planning, control, and management related to logistics, marine inspection, mobilization, and installation activities for offshore projects.Act as a project focal point for interfaces between project teams, company departments, stakeholders, JV entities, and organizations, assisting the Head of Commissioning and Logistics as needed.Provide technical evaluation of marine vessels offered by contractors to ensure compliance with company requirements and scope.Coordinate with offshore installation contractors for inspections and readiness for mobilization per project plans.Support the evaluation of offshore marine support vessels during bidding stages.Organize and manage project logistics back charges, coordinating with project management, finance, and contracts to facilitate closures.Coordinate with Marine, HSE, and PTS departments for initial approval and inspection of marine spreads, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.Follow up on inspection punch items and ensure their closure before mobilization.Keep project managers and senior engineers informed on execution issues and provide resolutions.Serve as the main communication focal point for offshore execution activities.Review project scope related to offshore logistics during FEED and bid evaluations.Coordinate offshore survey and marine access activities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
