Overview

Guildhall is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer (MMUP Grade “A”) to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction planning and scheduling for large-scale commercial, residential, and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

Develop and oversee the project schedule and work program in coordination with the Project Manager.
Plan, organize, and coordinate all planning-related activities.
Prepare and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), resource loading, and cash flow forecasts.
Review and analyze shop drawings, design data sheets, and method statements.
Monitor project progress against the baseline and update schedules based on team input.
Prepare monthly progress and labor reports, charts, and histograms.
Ensure all technical and planning documentation is maintained and submitted on time.
Assist in shutdown, preventive, and corrective maintenance planning.
Liaise with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Track and report on milestone dates and contractual commitments.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

Minimum of 15 years of planning experience in the construction industry.

Proven track record in large-scale commercial, residential, or industrial projects.

MMUP Grade “A” certification (mandatory).

Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office tools.

Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Ability to lead in a multi-disciplinary environment.
