Senior Planning Engineer

Overview

Guildhall is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer (MMUP Grade “A”) to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction planning and scheduling for large-scale commercial, residential, and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the project schedule and work program in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate all planning-related activities.
• Prepare and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), resource loading, and cash flow forecasts.
• Review and analyze shop drawings, design data sheets, and method statements.
• Monitor project progress against the baseline and update schedules based on team input.
• Prepare monthly progress and labor reports, charts, and histograms.
• Ensure all technical and planning documentation is maintained and submitted on time.
• Assist in shutdown, preventive, and corrective maintenance planning.
• Liaise with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Track and report on milestone dates and contractual commitments.
