The PCS7 Engineer with ELICS expertise is responsible for design, implementation, and commissioning of PCS7 based Control Systems, SIMATIC S7 Safety Systems, and ELICS Systems for a variety of industrial control system applications.

Responsibilities

• PCS7, WinCC and STEP 7 programming of control systems
• Fire & Gas systems and Emergency Shutdown Systems design and programming
• Involvement throughout whole software / systems lifecycle, from design through coding to testing, installation and configuration, and documentation
• Installation and configuration / testing work at customer sites
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Minimum experience 5+ years – with PCS7 preferred Oil & Gas Systems
• Ability to develop PCS7 and PLC programs based on reading schematics and interpreting customer specifications
• Ability to troubleshoot control loops and motor wiring
• Network architecture design and Industrial instrumentation selection, configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Specific experience with ELICS Systems required
• Hands-on PCS7 based project experience (Siemens Power Control Library preferred)
• Experience in Electrical / Automation Cabinet Hardware Engineering & Commissioning
• EPDCS – Emergency Power Distribution Control Systems
• PMS - Power Management Systems
• GMS - Generator Management Systems
• LSS / LSC Load Sharing, Load Shedding & Load Management Systems
• Documentation (IO Lists, FDS, FAT procedure, SAT procedure, Logic Flowchart, Control Philosophy, O&M manuals)
• Hands-on expertise in third party integration protocols such as Modbus (serial), Modbus (TCP), IEC-61850, OPC
• Knowledge of functional block development and customization in PCS7
• Conducting internal testing, FAT and SAT
