Recreation Experience Expert- Pool Attendant

Overview POSITION SUMMARY : Serve as a key resource for all recreation activities facilitated on the property. Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities (e.g., pools, beach, entertainment zone / game-room, fitness center, and child activities center). Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere and ensure safety by upholding facility rules and regulations. Observe facility activity and respond in accordance with local operating procedures during emergencies. Provide cashier services where applicable. Assist with hosting private functions within recreation facilities and group activities. Maintain awareness of guests who may not safely participate and inform a supervisor as needed. Provide assistance to injured guests until EMS arrival. Clean and maintain recreational facilities, equipment, and supplies.

Responsibilities

Welcome and assist guests according to company standards; anticipate and address service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.

Promote safety, rules, and regulations of recreation facilities for the welfare of guests and members.

Monitor activities and respond to emergencies per local procedures; inform supervisor / manager as required.

Provide cashier and point-of-sale services where applicable; process payments for rental equipment, activities, facility rentals, or retail sales.

Assist with private events and group activities within recreation facilities.

Identify situations where guests cannot safely participate and communicate with supervision.

Assist injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.

Clean, inspect, and maintain recreational facilities, equipment, and supplies; perform visual inspections for defects.

Read and verify information in various formats; enter and locate work-related information using computers or POS systems.

Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 25 pounds unassisted and heavier with assistance; maneuver in confined spaces; reach overhead and below the knees; bend, twist, pull, and stoop.

Perform other reasonable duties as requested.

Preferred Qualifications

Education : High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Related Work Experience : No related work experience required.

Supervisory Experience : No supervisory experience required.

Required Qualifications

License or Certification : CPR Certification

First Aid Certification

Recreation Equipment familiarity

Any certification or training required by local and state agencies
