We are seeking a

Senior Electrical Engineer

to work in Qatar with a major Oil & Gas company.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

Chartered / Professional Engineer status or equivalent (preferred).

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide technical design and engineering services in Electrical Engineering for all assigned projects, ensuring quality, schedule, cost, and HSE standards are met.

Conduct electrical engineering activities and site surveys from concept through to commissioning.

Ensure compliance with company standards, environmental, and safety policies; review deviations and variations.

Support the review and update of company standards and external standards.

Plan and coordinate the activities of multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Coordinate and review engineering designs and scope of work.

Review and approve method statements and liaise with contractors on technical issues.

Develop and monitor schedules for engineering activities and contribute to project scheduling.

Evaluate technical bid packages and contract changes.

Support the development of technical skills among engineers and participate in training.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of relevant post-graduate experience, with at least 6 years in the Oil & Gas industry.

Knowledge of relevant engineering standards and codes.

Proven project management skills in time, cost, and quality control.

Fluency in English, with strong communication and presentation skills.
