Geotechnical Engineer

The incumbent of this position shall be responsible for the review / approval of the geotechnical design

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering / Geo Physics from an accredited University to the approval of the Engineer.
• Should be holding a recognized post graduate degree in Geo technical engineering / Soil Mechanics to the approval of the Engineer.
• Minimum 12 years demonstrable experience in subsurface investigations related to site civil and landfill design (building foundations cut and fill slopes retaining walls landslides and pavements)
• Must be adept in coordination or monitoring subsurface drilling obtaining soil and rock samples preparing boring logs developing laboratory testing programs interpreting laboratory data performing geotechnical analyses and reportpreparation etc.
• Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with good capability in oral and written communication skills.
