We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Food Safety & Hygiene Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene across large-scale catering operations. The role ensures strict compliance with local regulations, international standards, and company policies, while driving a strong culture of food safety and continuous improvement. Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor food safety, sanitation, and hygiene policies in compliance with HACCP, ISO, and local regulations. Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments across catering units and central kitchens. Lead training programs to build staff awareness and capability in food safety and hygiene practices. Investigate non-compliance, food safety incidents, and customer complaints, ensuring corrective and preventive actions. Liaise with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and clients on all food safety and hygiene matters. Maintain robust documentation, reporting, and record-keeping systems. Collaborate with operations, quality assurance, and HSE teams to drive a food safety culture. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance hygiene standards and minimize risks. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in food science, Microbiology, Public Health, or related field. Master’s preferred. Professional certifications (HACCP Level 4, ISO 22000, NEBOSH Food Safety, etc.) required. Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in food safety and hygiene, with at least 4 years in a senior management role within large-scale catering or industrial food operations. Strong knowledge of international food safety standards, audits, and compliance frameworks. Excellent leadership, communication, and training skills. Ability to manage multiple catering sites and high-volume operations.
