Company : Seaworks -Country : QatarDescription : Automobile Spray Painter (Workshop) Job Summary To plan and execute repair and painting jobs on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks and buses. To have knowledge of specialty painting techniques. be responsible for applying spray paints on parts, metals, automobiles, etc., and executing associated tasks. Job Duties and responsibilities. Remove rust and other debris by sanding or other means from surfaces that are to be painted.Fill cavities and dents with putty, plastics, solder or other suitable materials on vehicles to create an even and smooth surface.Mask or tape-off details and components to avoid contamination and select the proper colors and substances for the vehicles.Prepare paint booth equipment, mix paint and components and match colors.Use equipment, brush or spray guns to apply primer, paint, enamel, lacquer or other non-metallic protective and decorative coatings to automobiles.Dry or bake newly painted surfaces.Apply decals, transfers, stencils and other types of identification to finished paintwork.Inspect painting job and repair faults.Clean and apply or restore anti-corrosion treatments
