Responsibilities Supervise and lead a team of valve technicians in removal, installation, repair, and testing of control and manual valves.
Plan and allocate daily work schedules ensuring timely completion of maintenance and refurbishment activities.
Ensure all valve servicing work complies with quality standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
Perform troubleshooting, inspection, and decision‑making for mechanical and operational issues during servicing.
Review job cards, maintenance logs, and test reports to verify accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and site safety officers for smooth execution of shutdown and maintenance jobs.
Provide technical guidance and on‑the‑job training to junior technicians.
Ensure adherence to safety procedures, permit‑to‑work systems, and site HSE requirements.
Desired Skills & Experience
Technical Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering.
Minimum 8 years of experience in control and manual valve refurbishment and servicing, including shutdown projects.
Proven experience leading teams in valve overhaul, testing, and calibration activities.
Strong knowledge of valve types — control, gate, globe, check, and ball valves.
Skilled in diagnosing faults, performing hydro and pressure testing, and ensuring quality standards.
Good communication and reporting skills in English (Arabic knowledge is a plus).
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced industrial environment.
Must be available in Qatar with valid QID & transferable visa (NOC).
