Job Title : Restaurant Manager
Job Purpose
To oversee and manage all daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, staff performance, and operational efficiency in a casual dining environment. Responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, team productivity, sales growth, and overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth daily restaurant operations and guest experience
- Maintain high service standards consistent with casual dining brand expectations
- Monitor dining floor and kitchen performance, ensuring timely service
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
Staff Management & Training
Supervise, schedule, and train restaurant staff (waiters, supervisors, hostesses, etc.)Conduct daily briefings, assign duties and monitor performanceLead, coach, and motivate team to achieve service & sales goalsEnsure grooming standards and staff disciplineFinancial & Inventory Control
Manage cash handling, billing, and daily sales reportingWork with accounts department for proper documentation & audit requirementsMonitor food, beverage, and other inventory levelsControl waste, minimize operating costs and increase profitabilityQuality & Hygiene Compliance
Ensure food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards are strictly followedConduct regular inspections of restaurant, kitchen and storage areasEnsure compliance with local health, safety & municipality regulationsGuest Engagement & Brand Standards
Build strong customer relationships & encourage repeat businessImplement promotions, special events, and campaignsMaintain restaurant ambiance, cleanliness, and brand imageQualifications & Skills
