Responsibilities

Manage day‑to‑day financial operations, including reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Lead month‑end and statutory accounts processes, ensuring strong internal controls and compliance.

Oversee procurement, contracts, and supplier relationships to secure best value and service quality.

Support the Principal and Senior Leadership Team with timely financial insights for strategic decision‑making.

Coordinate with regional finance, operations, and group teams on audits, Capex, and performance reviews.

Promote continuous improvement, staff development, and financial discipline within the school team.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years’ experience in accounting or financial leadership, ideally within education or a service‑based organisation.

A recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA, CPA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).

Strong financial planning, reporting, and process improvement experience.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics, OneStream, or similar accounting systems.

Proactive, analytical, and detail‑oriented approach, able to work to tight deadlines.
