Procurement Engineer (with ERP Knowledge)

Responsibilities

• Sourcing of new and / or potential vendors / suppliers of various materials intended for Fit-out projects and carpentry / joinery materials (wood, hardware and paint materials) and others as required for the project.
• Review / prepares comparative analysis and evaluation of quotations from suppliers.
• Negotiating contract terms of agreement, pricing, shipment and delivery.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Review quality of purchased products.
• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.
• Create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer.
