Job Description
Responsibilities :
Erect, alter, and dismantle scaffolding systems (tube & fitting, modular, suspended, mobile) as per design drawings and supervisor instructions.
Inspect work areas and assess the type and quantity of scaffolding materials required for the job.
Ensure scaffold stability, strength, and alignment to support the required loads safely.
Tag scaffolds appropriately with Green (Safe), Yellow (Restricted), or Red (Unsafe) tags in line with company standards.
Conduct pre-use inspections and report any unsafe conditions or defects immediately.
Coordinate with supervisors, riggers, and other trades to plan safe scaffold access and working platforms.
Ensure fall protection, guardrails, toe boards, and access ladders are properly installed.
Follow all HSE regulations, PTW (Permit-to-Work) procedures, and site safety practices.
Maintain a clean and organized work area , returning unused materials to storage.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience :
High school diploma / ITI certificate or equivalent.
Minimum 3–5 years of scaffolding experience in shipyard, construction, or industrial projects.
Certified Scaffolder (CITB / CISRS / TUV / Third-party approved training).
Knowledge of BS EN 12811 / OSHA standards for scaffolding safety.
Ability to read scaffold drawings and material lists .
Offshore medical certificate and BOSIET / HUET certification preferred for offshore work.
