Job Purpose Implement wellwork operations in the company's production and injection wells, meeting the Company’s targets in the most cost-effective manner, while maintaining the highest safety, environmental, and security standards. Key Job Accountabilities Implement all types of wellwork activities in the company's wells (offshore or onshore), ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Execute technologically complex rigless wellwork. Follow proper programs, procedures, and guidelines to ensure safe and efficient wellwork operations. Identify significant findings, report to the Head of Well Operations or Offshore Operations, propose troubleshooting actions, and implement remedial measures. Seek review and approval for deviations. Report abnormalities and raise Incident Reports for any incidents. Arrange equipment and personnel mobilization and demobilization. Coordinate with contractors and related divisions. Support well intervention division tasks as required. Check equipment, tools, and consumables at the site for fitness and quantity. Advise Well Engineering on discrepancies to prevent downtime and schedule disruptions. Safety and Risk Management Conduct Last Minute Risk Assessments to mitigate risks. Lead regular Tool Box Talks to ensure crew awareness of operations and risks. Analyze subsurface logging data to meet job objectives. Maintain detailed operation records and compile daily reports in Well View. Implement well handover procedures safely and efficiently. Promote a safety culture aligned with the company's Incident and Injury Free (IIF) initiative. Develop awareness of blowout prevention among crew and maintain blowout prevention readiness to prevent well control incidents. Respond promptly to well control incidents, implementing the company's Well Control and Emergency Response Plans. Conduct well control drills to ensure crew preparedness. Coordination and Optimization Coordinate with Onshore and Offshore Operations, Maintenance, Project teams, Drilling, Completions, Petroleum Engineering, SEQ, Warehouse, and other disciplines to maximize well utilization, minimize downtime, and control expenses. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Natural Gas, Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 8 years’ experience in wellwork operations in oil and gas, including at least 5 years in rigless wellwork, offshore or onshore. Experience with high pressure, high temperature, and toxic gas wells is preferred. Knowledge of well engineering disciplines, including Wellhead, Tree & Surface Equipment, Subsurface Equipment, Cased Hole, Production Logging, Well and Tubular Design, Pressure Control Equipment, and Well Barrier requirements. Proficiency in software applications like Well View, Emraude, Saphir for subsurface data. Familiarity with Well Integrity Management, including Casing Pressure Management, Wellhead / Xmas Tree, and Down Hole Safety Valve Testing & Maintenance. IWCF Certification in Well Intervention & Pressure Control (Level 4) is required.
