Job Summary
The Business Psychologist will play a critical role in designing, delivering, and managing comprehensive assessment and development centers for a high-profile government entity. The role requires deep expertise in occupational psychology, competency frameworks, and evidence-based assessment methodologies to support executive hiring, talent identification, succession planning, and leadership development.
Key Responsibilities (Being part of the Center of Excellence)
The Business Psychologist will lead the end-to-end design of assessment center exercises, psychometric evaluations, behavioural interviews, and simulation activities aligned with organizational competencies. The role will oversee administration of assessments, ensure standardization, maintain data integrity, and provide expert facilitation during group and individual exercises. Responsibilities include interpreting results, preparing detailed psychological reports, and presenting findings to senior leadership with actionable development recommendations.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will hold a master’s degree or doctorate in Occupational / Business Psychology and bring 8–12 years of experience in assessment center design and talent evaluation within government or large organizations. Strong proficiency in psychometric tools, assessment technologies, competency modelling, and behavioural validation techniques is required. Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and advisory skills are essential, as the role involves working closely with senior executives and ensuring the integrity, fairness, and confidentiality of all assessment processes.
