Job description

Liaises with other Business planners in development of the business plan for Kahramaa departments based on finalised business strategy.

Analyses the department initiatives and activities to identify ways to align it to business objectives to ensure achievement of business objectives.

Conducts market research and studies in the business plans across utility industry and uses best practices, tools, and techniques for Kahramaa’s benefit.

Conducts necessary analysis to evaluate competitive strengths and weaknesses and utilisations of strengths to bridge the gaps and assist in achievement of business goals.

Coordinates with directors and departments providing them with inputs in development of business plans and budget, as and when required.

Assist in developing and implementing procedures to set business performance targets and to monitor business performance during the year against targets and against plan / budget.

Liaises with department managers and section heads of Kahramaa departments on a periodic basis to provide planning advice and ensures that they are aware of established business plan.

Assist in preparation and conducting of business planning workshops and planning cycle activities.

Monitor and analyse industry trends and market changes and provide support and insight into significant organizational changes.

Contributes to the analysis and preparation of financial and economic studies pertaining to strengthening of the business plan.

Coordinates with the Finance Department on all matters pertaining to development of annual operating budget for Water and Electricity Networks

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration
Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in a similar role of which a minimum of 4 years in similar industry of electricity & water utilities.
