Technical Project Manager (Optimizely)

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with a 12+ years of experience in migration projects, preferably from SAP Commerce (Hybris) to Optimizely Commerce Cloud. The Technical PM will be responsible for end-to-end delivery oversight, including team onboarding, vendor knowledge transition, governance, SLA adherence, and quality assurance. This role requires strong B2B domain knowledge, hands‑on technical understanding, and leadership skills to ensure successful migration and long-term ownership of the solution. Responsibilities include :

Project Planning & Delivery

Define and manage the migration roadmap, timelines, and milestones. Oversee end-to-end delivery ensuring SLA compliance, quality, and governance. Conduct feasibility analysis and risk assessments for migration phases. Lead team onboarding and ensure smooth transition of knowledge from vendors. Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders. Drive vendor handover strategy for architecture and development ownership. Technical Oversight

Ensure alignment with solution architecture and technical standards. Collaborate with architects and developers to resolve technical challenges. Monitor integration, data migration, and performance testing activities. Governance & Reporting

Maintain project documentation, dashboards, and progress reports. Conduct status meetings and communicate updates to leadership. Ensure compliance with security, quality, and enterprise standards. Primary Skills

Experience in migration projects – ideally SAP Hybris to Optimizely. Strong B2B domain knowledge – pricing, catalogs, workflows, customer hierarchies. Hands‑on technical understanding – .NET Core, APIs, CMS / Commerce Cloud concepts. Proficiency in Agile project management – sprint planning, backlog management. Excellent stakeholder communication and vendor management skills. Strong governance and SLA management experience. Secondary Skills

Direct experience with Optimizely Commerce Cloud and Spire framework. Experience with JS framework (React / Angular / VueJS) and CMS proficiency. Familiarity with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) architecture. Knowledge of Azure cloud services and CI / CD pipelines. Exposure to data migration strategies and performance optimization. Certification in PMP or Agile / Scrum methodologies. Soft Skills
