Job Description

To welcome customers.

To ensure that all guests checking in and out are offered help with their luggage.

To assist guests in every way possible.

To maintain a presence in the lobby so that there is always somebody available to answer guest’s queries.

To ensure that the lobby and entrance area are always clean and tidy in line with the hotel’s standard.

The ability to use one’s initiative.

The ability to work in a team or alone.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a 4 to 5 star hotel or hospitality environment preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training or certification is an asset.

Exceptional customer service and communication skills to provide a warm and professional guest experience.

Physical fitness and stamina – able to lift, carry, and transport guest luggage safely and efficiently.

Professional appearance and grooming in line with hotel standards.

Thorough knowledge of the hotel’s layout and local attractions, transportation options, and amenities.

Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple guest requests smoothly.

Reliability and punctuality, with a commitment to upholding the hotel’s service and brand standards.
