Roads Projects Engineers

(SENIOR) PROJECT ENGINEERS Responsible for management, monitoring, and supervising assigned projects in a specific area, ensuring completion according to quality, budget, and schedule. Manages the day-to-day operational and contract aspects of multiple projects. Responsible for providing feedback regarding project progress, deviations, changes, and ensuring that projects are delivered to Ashghal standards. Handover the site (possession of site), conduct pre-contract meetings (kickoff), and handle RO’s and approvals, officially transferring responsibility to the contractor. Review and approve project control systems that measure progress / performance, provide early warnings of deviations, and identify corrective actions. Monitor traffic diversions (in liaison with traffic unit) to ensure they are effective and safe. Final interview will be in Spain and / or Portugal. Mandatory :

Arab and English speakers, with 12 years of roads engineering experience. Mandatory requirements :

University degree in civil engineering or a related field from a recognized university. Proficient in English and Arabic, both written and spoken. Desirable requirements :

Chartered engineer status or working towards it, or registration as a professional project manager. Minimum of 12 years experience in design, construction, and procurement of major road projects. Experience in administering consultant and contractor contracts related to major road projects. Experience managing a team of professional staff. Experience working with government agencies or clients at a senior level is preferred. Experience working in Qatar is desirable. Strong communication and leadership skills. About The Company
