Senior Marketing Executive
Al Jazeera Media Network, a leading international news broadcaster, is seeking to hire an innovative and passionate, bilingual (Arabic and English) speaking Senior Marketing professional, for the position of Senior Marketing Executive.
The successful candidate, preferably with a marketing experience from the media industry, will be part of a dynamic team of brand and marketing specialists based in Doha, Qatar.
Specific Responsibilities :
- Lead the development and implementation of the agreed marketing strategy for Al Jazeera’s products and services, in order to help drive consumption and improve brand perceptions
- Work closely with other functions within the Network including Brand, Distribution, Research and Communications, to ensure alignment and avoid conflict in messaging / activity
- Lead in the management and implementation of key online marketing campaigns within agreed budgets / timescales
- Monitor and analyse key market, consumer and competitor trends using available internal / external data
- Maintain an up-to-date awareness of trends and developments across the field of traditional, online, activation and social media marketing, ensuring these are considered during planning and implementation of marketing activity
- Work with contracted agencies, suppliers and partners during campaigns to ensure the maximum output is achieved
- Monitor and administer budget allocated for marketing activities & campaigns.
- Assist in the identification of relevant opportunities in building brand awareness, consumption and loyalty within key markets and target audiences as identified within the appropriate regional strategies
- Safeguard Al Jazeera’s brand identity across all output and any other material produced by Al Jazeera Media Network and any third parties, in accordance with agreed guidelines and Al Jazeera Media Network’s guidelines
Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required :
Bachelor’s degree in Branding, Marketing, Communications or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of professional experience in a marketing field, experience on digital campaigns from either client or agency sideSpecific experience managing digital campaigns, daily optimization of campaigns according to KPIsExperience working at multinational advertising agency is a plusAttention to detail and exceptional organizational skills are essentialAbility to communicate efficiently both internally and externallyExcellent written and spoken English and ArabicProven analytical thinking and project management skillsHigh level of creativity, both in conceptualizing marketing ideas and tactics and finding solutions to problemsExperience building creative content, marketing collaterals and presentationsExperience using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, tubular, social bakers etc is a plusExperience using specific design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign or After Effects is a plusAbility to build relationships and collaborate at all levels of a diverse and multi-disciplined organization#J-18808-Ljbffr
