Engineering Supervisor

Overview

Engineering Supervisor (HOT0C0UP) at Waldorf Astoria - West Bay Doha. An Engineering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all engineering and maintenance operations within the hotel to ensure a safe, well-maintained, and efficient environment for guests and team members. This includes conducting daily inspections, supervising repairs, and coordinating renovation and maintenance projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all engineering and maintenance activities within the hotel.
• Conduct daily inspections of hotel facilities and equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
• Supervise and assist in the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ensure all hotel fixtures, fittings, and equipment are maintained in a safe and operational condition.
• Lead and support the engineering team to deliver high-quality service and timely maintenance.
• Coordinate and monitor renovation and upgrade projects, including defining scope, budgeting, and supervising contractors.
• Develop and implement emergency response procedures and safety protocols.
• Manage energy conservation initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure team members are trained accordingly.
• Build strong working relationships with internal departments and external service providers.
• Handle special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
