About the job : Quality Management Manager
Job Summary The Quality Management Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with international standards such as ISO 9001. This role ensures that company processes, documentation, and operations meet defined quality standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices. The role holder leads the organization toward achieving and sustaining ISO certification, while continuously improving efficiency, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibilities Quality Management System (QMS) Development and Implementation
Develop, implement, and maintain an effective QMS across all departments.
Establish quality policies, procedures, manuals, and documentation control systems in line with ISO standards.
Coordinate and lead the organization through ISO certification and recertification processes.
Ensure that all QMS documentation (policies, SOPs, process maps, work instructions, and templates) are up to date and properly controlled.
Audit and Compliance
Plan and conduct internal quality audits to assess process compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and certification bodies.
Prepare audit reports, track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and monitor their closure.
Ensure compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and company-specific quality requirements.
Continuous Improvement
Promote a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven analysis, process evaluation, and staff engagement.
Identify process inefficiencies and lead cross-functional teams to implement quality enhancements.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare quality reports for senior management review.
Benchmark and apply best practices in quality management across business units.
Leadership and Communication
Collaborate with all department heads to align operational processes with QMS requirements.
Lead the organization’s quality strategy and represent quality management in management review meetings.
Foster teamwork, accountability, and transparency in all quality-related matters.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Quality Management, or related field (Masters preferred).
Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in quality management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Proven track record of achieving ISO 9001 (or other relevant ISO) certification for organizations.
In-depth knowledge of QMS development, document control systems, internal auditing, and continuous improvement tools.
Certification as an ISO Lead Auditor or Quality Management Professional is a strong advantage.
Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams toward achieving organizational objectives.
