Primary Purpose Of The Job

Provide technical design and engineering services in Civil / Structural Engineering (Offshore) for all assigned engineering projects, achieving technical quality of work in accordance with QatarEnergy procedures while considering quality, schedule, cost, and HSE.

Required Experience and Skills

• 10 years relevant post graduate experience, of which 6 years should be related to the Oil & Gas industry.
• Conduct Civil / Structural Engineering (Offshore) Engineering activities and in-house site surveys for projects from initial concept definition through engineering studies, FEED, detailed design and commissioning.
• Develop, update and monitor schedules for in-house engineering activities, contribute to external FEED / EPIC scheduling activities and effective project delivery.
• Conduct evaluation of technical bid packages for scope compliance.
• Review and evaluate Contract Changes / Variations against approved guidelines and practices.
• Identify and utilize relevant engineering standards and codes related to Civil / Structural Engineering (Offshore).
• Proven ability to manage time, cost and quality in engineering projects within a multiple project environment.
• Good communication and presentation skills with fluency in English.
