Job Summary

The Gastroenterology Specialist is responsible for providing expert care and diagnosis for patients with gastrointestinal disorders. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in gastroenterology, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of gastrointestinal health.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients presenting with gastrointestinal symptoms and disorders.
• Perform diagnostic procedures, including endoscopies, colonoscopies, and biopsies, as necessary.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for various gastrointestinal conditions, such as inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, and gastrointestinal cancers.
• Monitor and manage ongoing treatment regimens, adjusting as needed based on patient progress and feedback.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, radiologists, and primary care physicians, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about gastrointestinal health, treatment options, and lifestyle changes to improve outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Stay current with advancements in gastroenterology through continued education and professional development.
• Participate in research and clinical trials related to gastroenterology, if applicable.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Job Experience

Minimum of 3-5 years of Gastroenterology Experience

Minimum 1 year in GCC (preferred)
