Digital Photography Coordinator

Key Accountabilities :

Role Purpose : Digital Experience is seeking a talented and creative photographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for capturing the essence of art, culture, and heritage through stunning visuals. As a photographer, you will play a crucial role in documenting exhibitions, events, and the rich cultural landscape of Qatar. Your work will be showcased across various platforms, contributing to the promotion and preservation of Qatar's artistic heritage.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Photography : Capture high-quality images of exhibitions, events, artworks, and cultural landmarks.
• Editing : Edit and retouch photographs to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and visual appeal.
• Collaboration : Work closely with curators, artists, and other museum staff to understand the vision and requirements for each project.
• Archiving : Maintain an organized archive of photographs for easy retrieval and use in future projects.
• Promotion : Contribute to the promotion of Qatar Museums through visually compelling content for website, social media, publications, and marketing materials.
• Innovation : Stay updated with the latest photography techniques and equipment to continuously improve the quality of work.
• Event Coverage : Photograph museum events, including openings, lectures, workshops, and special programs, ensuring comprehensive visual documentation.
• Exhibition Documentation : Capture detailed images of exhibitions, including individual artworks, installation views, and gallery setups.
• Portrait Photography : Take professional portraits of artists, curators, and other key figures associated with Qatar Museums.
• Field Photography : Travel to various cultural and historical sites across Qatar to document the country's heritage and ongoing preservation efforts.
• Content Creation : Develop creative concepts for photo shoots that align with the museum's branding and communication strategies.
• Technical Maintenance : Ensure all photography equipment is well-maintained and in good working condition.
• Project Management : Manage multiple photography projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
• Training and Mentorship : Provide guidance and training to junior photographers and interns, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.
