mselect is looking to hire a QHSE Management System Analyst for a national oil and gas operator in Doha, Qatar. Candidates must have at least 10-12 years of experience in supply chain / warehouse / material handling including the Oil & Gas sector. Fluency in English is a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Senior QHSE management system analyst in setting up annual HSE objectives; monitor and provide needed support for realization of HSE objectives.
- Review and implement permit requirements for materials warehouse, ensure appropriate qualifications training for all work permit applicants.
- Report incidents, near misses, unsafe acts / conditions.
- Disseminate safety alerts and lessons learned.
- Act as a focal point for department SMART objectives, assist management, review, and set achievable targets with management approval.
- Conduct materials warehouse & office inspections at all locations (e.g., Dukhan, Mesaieed & RLC) and participate in site HSE inspections, reporting, tracking, and follow-up for closures.
- Plan and organize department HSE tours.
- Prepare, review, and update department risk register and legal obligations registers (LORs).
- Develop and periodically review department training matrix for new requirements.
- Lead safety campaigns on topics such as heat stress management, chemical handling, hot work, height work, and lifting operations; promote Life-Saving Rules through posters / banners.
- Oversee chemical handling, storage, and transportation, ensuring safe measures and implementing MSDS and safe work procedures, including COSHH training.
- Manage transportation and storage of construction materials, ensuring safe lifting practices and implementing approved plans for heavy lifts.
- Coordinate environment monitoring activities (noise, CO2 emissions, illumination levels).
- Manage waste storage, segregation (hazardous / non-hazardous), handling, and coordinate with vendors / contractors for disposal law compliance.
- Assist in corrective actions for internal and external HSE audit findings.
- Prepare, review, and implement HSE plans, procedures, and method statements.
- Organize and conduct site HSE audits, prepare reports, and track closure actions.
- Perform periodic inspections of fire safety systems, coordinate with TPI vendors for inspections / testing / calibrations.
- Review and assess HSE documentation related to contracts.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a Diploma in Industrial Safety or equivalent from a recognized body & NEBOSH Certificate.10-12 years of experience in supply chain / warehouse / material handling including the Oil & Gas sector.Experience in planning, conducting, and reporting QHSE audits and inspections.Skills and expertise in analyzing and reporting HSE data.#J-18808-Ljbffr
