Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Act as QHSE Manager for MAN ES -GTS and coordinate with all relevant departments to ensure effective implementation of QHSE Management system and ISO 9001, 14001 & OHSAS 18001 certification. This position will manage and lead a team of people in allocating workload and managing the day to day operations (Quality and HSE – Health, Safety, Security and Environment) in the workshop and field. It requires the job holder to co-ordinate resources and liaise with internal and external key contacts to ensure work is delivered on time and to a quality standard. Manage (develop, implement and review) the company’s relevant policies and procedures for Operations, Quality and Health, Safety, Security, Environment, including appropriate training and audit programs. Support different functions to establish various quality processes and systems, coordinate to monitor performance of processes, facilitate cascading of quality objectives to different levels and functions to enhance process performance levels. Manage the overall implementation of QHSE systems, strategies, legal regulations and objectives and initiatives in order to effectively contribute towards the overall corporate QHSE objectives and targets of the company.. Conduct regular assessments / audits of your department to ensure compliance with Quality requirements Support different functions to establish various quality processes and systems, coordinate to monitor performance of processes, facilitate cascading of quality objectives to different levels and functions to enhance process performance levels. Actively participate and act as a mentor in the projects QHSE Observation program Participate in Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessments and Environmental Impact Assessments Review local QHSE management documents such that these and other key management documents are in line with the Company and international standards Standardization, documentation and training of business related processes Ensure applicable standards applied technically like ISO, API, ASME. Provide engineering solutions to the business work jobs / reports. Work with the Managing Director / Operations Manager to investigate customer complaints and concerns arising from products and suggest appropriate solutions. Develop QHSE training plans through the establishment of training needs analysis and deliver in house training as required Conduct regular assessments / audits of your department to ensure compliance with Quality requirements schedules and provide detailed reports and action plans on improvement initiatives as required Ensure each quality deviation has been properly delt with conducting and using the appropriate process - Root Cause analysis Familiarize, understand and implement safety, and environment policy, procedures, legal regulations and objectives applicable to areas of responsibility. To be aware of, and adhere to, all Health & Safety laws & guidelines relevant to your role and to the safety of your colleagues, visitors and external partners

You Can Help Us With These Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Engineering in the field of Mechanical. Engineering Degree in Mechanical / Industrial production from University, NEBOSH certification or equivalent English proficient Minimum 10 years of experience in rotating turbomachinery or equivalent field. Minimum 5 years of Management experience Workshop - different applications of standards (refurbishments and repairs) Application of different engineering standards like ISO, ASME, API, DIN etc. Strong hands on exposure in ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards Computer literacy with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel Quality and productivity focused.
