Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Rooms, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following :

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer exceptional, friendly and engaging service
• Ensure the best selection for the guest and ensure revenue is maximized through up-selling
• Recommend property facilities and assist guests with information and special requests
• Meet the needs of customers and inform them of the services offered
• Propose a response adapted to the needs of the customer
• Know the geographical and competitive environment of the establishment
• Present the Group's or brand's loyalty program
• Apply the procedures and policies defined by the brand and the hotel
• Versatility : perform Reception (Check-in & Check-out) duties for the greatest pleasure of our customers and the team
• Guest registration and room assignment, accommodating special requests whenever possible to assist
• Know cash handling procedures
• Have thorough knowledge of Front Office system, i.e. Opera
• Have working knowledge about reservations
• Handle telephone calls (internal and external)
• Have full knowledge of master keys and Ving Card system
• Handle check-in and check-out efficiently
