Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Foreman to join our team. The Asphalt Foreman will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the asphalt crew. This includes supervising staff, coordinating with project managers, managing asphalt laying activities, and ensuring that all safety and quality standards are met. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard of workmanship.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Asphalt Foreman or similar supervisory role in asphalt paving or construction
• Strong knowledge of asphalt laying techniques, materials, and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and commitment to enforcing safety protocols
• Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with project managers and crew members
• Ability to manage time efficiently and meet project deadlines
• Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in construction safety or equipment operation are a plus
