QA / QC Manager

Overview We are looking for a Project QA / QC Manager to join our project in Doha Qatar. The following qualifications and experience are required :

Experience Experience :

20-25 years of relevant QA / QC experience in the Oil & Gas industry, of which a minimum of 10 years in EPIC onshore development projects.

Responsibilities

Establish a fully documented project quality system in line with contract requirements and ISO 9001 : 2015, covering the full project scope.

Ensure work is carried out in accordance with the project quality standards specified in the contract and that the procedures in the Project Quality Plan are followed.

Establish and monitor quality-related KPIs for all project execution phases.

Maintain a project quality audit schedule to ensure effectiveness of the project quality system.

Coordinate external inspection agencies when required.

Keep close liaison with the Client and other stakeholders regarding site QA / QC issues during all phases of project execution.

Check purchase and sub-contract requisitions and evaluate vendor and sub-contractor quotations on inspection matters, as applicable.

Organize and provide quality awareness training sessions.

Supervise a multi-discipline team of QC Engineers and Inspectors on site.

Qualifications

BSc Engineering or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.

Complex and large size Oil & Gas Process Plant and related facilities.

Brownfield and Greenfield construction of large scope, including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical / Instrumentation (E&I) fabrication / installation and pre-commissioning.
