Head of Construction

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering

Minimum of 10 years of experience in similar roles within large companies, including at least 4 years in progressively managerial positions

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Solid people management skills

Proficiency in English is mandatory; Arabic language skills are a plus

Ability to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders, senior executives, management teams, and external partners or advisors

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Good understanding of Qatar and GCC culture and working environment

Responsibilities :

Support business operations and lead project teams

Ensure all construction activities comply with organizational standards and legal regulations, maintaining high safety and quality standards

Identify and resolve technical and managerial issues on-site to facilitate smooth construction progress and minimize delays

Maintain comprehensive documentation of construction activities, including contracts, progress reports, and compliance records for transparency and accountability

Manage all construction activities at plant sites, ensuring projects meet specifications, timelines, and budgets

Oversee daily operations of construction projects, coordinating with contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality and efficiency

Regularly review project progress and provide detailed reports to the Business Development Manager

Lead contractual and technical meetings with contractors, developers, purchasers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and collaboration
