EnerMech OGP is seeking a Diesel Engineer
The ideal candidate will have experience with diesel engines, specifically Caterpillar 3406, C15 & C18 series engines, totaling approximately 40 engines. Knowledge of Detroit Diesel 71 & 92 series, Cummings, MUT, and Mercedes industrial engines is also required.
The role involves :
- Onshore work : 10 hours per day, Monday to Friday, at the EnerMech office or workshop.
- Offshore travel : To oil platforms in the Caspian Sea (based in Baku) and the Persian Gulf (Qatar). Transportation will be by fast sea boat or helicopter. An offshore survival training course is required and will be provided by EnerMech.
- Maintenance of engines : Responsible for engine maintenance on offshore platforms, supporting from onshore engineering and crane mechanics.
- Reporting : Accurate reporting on engine scopes, condition, repairs, and spare parts.
- Support larger engine work scopes, including engine replacements, with assistance from maintenance crews.
- Diagnostics and investigations of engines.
- Mobilization for offshore engine work scopes.
- Workshop investigations and RCFA.
- Onshore reporting and materials identification.

Qualifications required :
Caterpillar Trakindo Certificate of Competency in Mechanical Technician Diesel Engines.Caterpillar Trakindo Certificate of Competency in Hydraulics.Technical vocational high school diploma in Mechanical Engineering.Personal qualities needed :
