Master Tailor & Pattern Maker – Bespoke Suits

Act as the technical lead of the MORIANO atelier in Qatar. Handle fittings, measurements, cutting, and overall garment quality. Ensure every suit meets the highest bespoke standards with precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Lead fittings and measurements for bespoke suits and complex garments. Guide clients on design options and technical limits in collaboration with the sales team.
• Assess technical feasibility and establish accurate timelines before work begins.
• Allocate work across the tailoring team, balancing urgent and standard jobs. Monitor daily progress and ensure deadlines are met.
• Draft, refine, and adjust patterns. Execute complex alterations and bespoke construction to the highest technical standard.
• Set and enforce the atelier’s technical and quality standards. Train tailors in suit construction, hand finishing, pressing, and consistency of workmanship.
• Conduct in-process and final quality checks to maintain a high first-fit success rate.
• Oversee the maintenance of machines and tools. Ensure the workspace remains organized, safe, and fully operational.
• Track and analyze remakes or rework. Identify root causes and implement permanent process improvements.
• Provide technical input during client consultations to ensure accurate expectations and sustainable promises.
• Develop a reference library of fit notes and photographs to support future work and consistency.
• Contribute short technical insights for marketing on craftsmanship, tailoring methods, and suit care (Preferred).
• Mentor apprentices and establish a clear skills development ladder to build internal talent (Preferred).
