Job descriptionActing as a form tutor and supporting the personal, social and spiritual well-being of students in every aspect of your work. Participating in school cross-curricular days such as citizenship or enterprise awareness days. Participation and contribution to the organisation of school visits and trips that complement learning. Supervision of students outside of lesson time in morning and afternoon sessions for example during lesson changeovers. Providing students’ work for classroom display. Regular attendance at meetings and parents’ evenings that are part of directed time. The job description allocates duties and responsibilities. It does not direct the particular amount of time to be spent in carrying them out and no part of it may be so construed. The job description is not necessarily a comprehensive definition of the post. It will be reviewed annually and it may be subject to modification or amendment after consultation with the post holder. For the right candidate, the interview will be done over Skype. Please apply if you realistically can fly out in a week or 2 of passing the interview. You will need a cleared police check and excellent references to be considered. You will also need to your documents for Qatar. Find other Qualification : Minimum Qualification or a relevant Bachelor’s Degree with a PGCE / PGDE (QTS). Experience : 1 year. Type of Staff : Only female can apply to this job. Location / Training : Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa). Language : Must be a native speaker of English. Other : Strong Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT's) can apply. Prefer candidates with international experience. Experience of the UK National Curriculum is essential. Preferences given to those who have worked in an Islamic School setting previously. Experience of Arabic culture will be beneficial to your application.

- Providing extra-curricular opportunities that are an essential part of subject provision such as drama and musical productions and PE fixtures.
- Keeping subject knowledge up to date.
- Contributing to the development of schemes of work and department resources.
- Contributing to preparing for changes to KS3, GCSE, A level syllabuses.
- Contributing to the implementation of new courses within the subject area.
- Attending department / faculty and year team meetings as part of directed time.
- Contributing fully to the extra-curricular programme within the department.
