Buyer

Element has an opportunity for a Buyer for managing procurement of all materials for various material testing laboratories consisting of chemistry, metallurgy, environment, civil & special testing.

This position will be based in Doha, Qatar.

Responsibilities

• Supporting other laboratories globally with competitive sources and vendors
• Vendor development
• Managing logistical functions for export of materials and samples to other countries and other global laboratories worldwide
• Ensuring cross functional coordination with other departments and outside business communities
• Managing liquidation of non-moving and non-saleable materials
• Supervising Purchase Coordinators and Admin Coordinators
• Assess the price trends for different class materials and act accordingly
