Transportation Team Leader

Job Purpose

To lead and coordinate all company transportation activities, ensuring efficient, safe, and timely delivery of personnel. Optimize routes, manage drivers, and oversee vehicle maintenance to reduce costs and improve performance. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Foster collaboration across departments for seamless transportation operations.

Principal Accountabilities

• Master Transportation Plan (Across Departments)

Consolidate transport requests from all departments.

Lead day‑to‑day transportation operations, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of goods and personnel across all company sites.

Regularly review GPS tracking reports and coordinate corrective actions for any deficiencies.

Develop, review, and optimize routes for all vehicles to maximize fuel efficiency, reduce operational costs, optimize shared routes, and improve delivery timelines.

Track costs (fuel, maintenance, violations, spare parts) and work to optimize them.

Collaborate with workshop teams to define service intervals based on mileage or engine hours.
