Job descriptionQuality Management Systems : Knowledge and experience in implementing and managing quality management systems, such as ISO 9001. Inspection and Testing : Experience in various inspection and testing procedures, including those carried out by contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, and manufacturers. Auditing : Formal training and experience in auditing Management Systems, including ISO 9001, + ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 is advantage. Lead Auditor : Being an IRCA (or equivalent) approved Lead Auditor for one of the IMS standards is also a common requirement. Location : Many QA / QC Engineer roles are based in Doha or Ras Laffan. Communication Skills : Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important for interacting with various stakeholders. Knowledgeable for Key documents QAQC, Such as PQP, MST, ITP, WIR, MIR, MAS, Testing materials, PQD , NCR’s and others.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- A degree in Civil Engineering is generally required. + MMUP accreditation is advantage.
Experience
A minimum of 10 years of experience and in the oil and gas industry will be advantage, with at least 5 years specifically in Quality Control & Quality assurance.
International Codes and Standards
Familiarity with relevant international codes and standards, like ISO 9001, QCS2014, BS, ACI is expected.
Management Systems
Experience in formal training and practical application of Management Systems, including auditing, statistics, data analysis, and reporting, is also important.
