Conversational BI and insight Analyst

Job Summary The Conversational BI & Insights Analyst leads the development, optimization, and governance of enterprise-wide analytics solutions. This strategic role combines technical proficiency, data storytelling, stakeholder engagement, and governance to deliver high-impact insights across multiple industries including healthcare, real estate, hospitality, and construction. The analyst acts as both a builder and a bridge—transforming complex datasets into actionable insights and aligning business objectives with scalable BI solutions. Job Responsibilities Design and build advanced dashboards and self-service BI solutions using Power BI, leveraging expert-level knowledge of DAX, M Query (Power Query), and data visualization best practices. Develop optimized data models and create semantic layers tailored to business needs, ensuring performance and scalability. Develop and maintain conversational BI platforms by using OpenAI, integrating tools like ChatGPT, Power BI, SAP Datasphere, and custom APIs to support real-time natural language querying and automated insights. Build and manage real-time and scheduled data pipelines using SQL and SAP Datasphere. Integrate AI / ML capabilities such as sentiment analysis, anomaly detection, and forecasting into dashboards and reports. Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand key metrics, business definitions, and KPIs, ensuring data relevance and accuracy. Drive dashboard governance, including documentation, access control, change tracking, and version management. Lead user enablement and training programs, promoting BI tool adoption and data literacy across the organization. Contribute to enterprise-wide data governance, quality frameworks, and data architecture initiatives. Translate complex business requirements into actionable insights, combining strong technical delivery with business acumen. Job Knowledge & Skills Advanced proficiency in Power BI (DAX, M, embedded analytics), strong SQL skills, and experience with SAP Datasphere or equivalent enterprise systems; adept at ETL processes, multi-source integration, and performance optimization. Skilled in translating complex data into intuitive, interactive dashboards using best practices in layout, color, charting, and UX / UI design, with a focus on readability and decision-making impact. Proficient in Python for automation and analytics; experience with deploying AI / NLP solutions and working with LLMs (e.g., GPT) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) in BI platforms. Strong communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders, translate business needs into natural language queries, and drive adoption of BI solutions across diverse industries such as healthcare, hospitality, and construction. ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, are a requirement to be successful in this role. Job Experience Minimum 5 years working experience, 3 years relevant working experience, 2 years GCC experience is a plus.
