Qualification & Experience
Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in Fire & Safety, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Electronics, Environmental, Industrial, Instrumentation, Production Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety
Experience : Minimum 10 years of experience in Occupational Health, Safety & Environment field as HSE Trainer / Instructor in utilities / construction sector.
Proficient in conducting training needs assessments to identify gaps and requirements within the organization.
Ability to design, develop, and implement comprehensive HSE training programs tailored to organizational needs
Hands‑on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting
Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
Experience in delivering certification courses (IOSH & NEBOSH etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Arabic to effectively convey HSE principles and practices to diverse audiences.
Familiarity with various training tools and software used for creating and delivering training materials
Expert in Microsoft Office especially in the use of power point presentations
Computer literate and presentation skill
Interview : Pass written assessment & interview conducted by Kahramaa
Certification Requirements
Should be either CMIOSH (Chartered Member) or GradIOSH (Graduate Member)
having NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Environmental, Safety & Health
Trainer (CET) by Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).
Major Duties / Responsibilities
Develop procedure / system for periodic refresher HSE training courses inline with approved training matrix
Provides training services to support the elements of the HSE Management System. Includes training related to Occupational Safety, Emergency Services, Health, Environment, and Risk.
Conducts training needs analysis for Kahramaa employees related to HSE Policy and Procedures.
Develops, implements, and conducts appropriate training programs to support identified needs.
Assists in the development of appropriate mandatory HSE training matrixes for all employees of Kahramaa.
Regularly evaluates the effectiveness of HSE training and develops appropriate training solutions / changes to ensure a high level of quality and competency.
Submit regular reports to Safety & Loss Prevention Head of Section on the status of the HSE training program. Analyze trends and make recommendations for improvement.
Ensure that Kahramaa HSE training complies with Qatar Civil Defense, ISO 14000 and ISO 45001 requirements
