Lead the preparation and submission of tender documents, ensuring compliance with client specifications and legal requirements. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies during the bidding phase. Negotiate terms and conditions with clients and subcontractors to secure favorable agreements. Oversee the administration of contracts, ensuring all parties adhere to agreed terms. Manage variations, claims, and disputes, providing timely resolutions. Monitor project progress and financials, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations. Serve as the primary point of contact between WSP, Ashghal, and other stakeholders. Attend and contribute to project meetings, providing contractual insights and recommendations. Ensure all contractual activities comply with local regulations and Ashghal standards. Prepare and present regular reports on contract performance, risks, and issues to senior management. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. MMUP (Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning) certification is a plus Minimum of 15 years in contract and commercial management within the construction industry. At least 5 years of experience working on Ashghal infrastructure projects. Proven track record in managing FIDIC-based contracts and handling claims and disputes. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite. In-depth knowledge of Qatari construction laws and regulations.
